Navan Fair Contest
This was for a contest/assignment were I had to come up with a design for the cover of the Navan Fair (a local country fair) brochure/pamphlet. The theme for 2015 was Fun For the Whole Herd. I didn't win but this was fun to do.
Turbo Turtle
This started as a personal project but got refined as a assignment for school. My dad and I love hot rods and he wanted me to design something to put on a NOS tank he was planing on getting, but when I got an assignment to create a hypothetical mascot for a company of my choosing that didn't have a mascot I seen an opportunity to make turbo bigger and better seeing as he was made to be put on the side of Holly carburetor NOS tank.

Private commission
This is a private commission that I did and the client was nice enough to let me show it here on my blog as well as in my portfolio.
The Wise Old Owl
This is a multi media piece I did unfortunately I have yet to figure out the trick to having that show in photos. There are 4 layers over a canvas the first layer is music note patterned scrap book paper that I glued on to the canvas. The second layer is another scrapbook paper with clocks and gears that taped together then cut a large circle out of and clued that to the background for the moon. Once my first two layers were dried I applied a thin coat of paint. The third layer is another scrape book paper this time with a wood grain which I used to make my tree, and just like the first two once cut, taped, glued down and dried I dry brushed highlights and low lights over the tree. The last layer is owl with his candle and the little green leaves. These were done on canvas paper then carefully cut out and glued on to the rest of the painting. All the paint is acrylic and there is a clear glaze over the eyes to reflect light.
