Angel in traing

Vampire remake

This is a twisted remake I did of the painting Lady Agnew of Lochnaw, 1893 By Singer Sargent.

Theory

Tiger

The Boys

These are the boys Pai-pai and Bolt. Both of these guys are rescues Pai-pai (on the left) is my Bernese mountain/ collie mix and Bolt (on the left) is my husky/shepherd mix.

Rock 'N' Rolla

This piece is actually really fun in person because it has 3D pieces to it that I sewed on.

Red

Another animal portrait. This one of a Chow Chow named Red that belonged to my sisters grandparents. She was sweet dog I can still remember how soft she was, but unfortunately she has crossed the rainbow bridge.

N Building Mural

When I graduated from the fine art program at Algonquin College the graduating class did a large mural for the school. The mural was of N building. Each person did one panel the image on top is of my panel and bottom image was the final result.

Ford

I love old cars there just like rolling art. This poor old ford had all kinds of weeds growing up through it so I thought it make a great texture study.

Ferret love

This was a piece that I did for the president of the Ferret rescue that I volunteer with after I adopted one of my ferrets.

Baby Banshee

This is a linoleum print that I did for a traveling print show that celebrates the Chinese New Year. The year I participated the subject had to be a rabbit because of it being the year of the rabbit. I decided to do mine with a Celtic twist because of my Irish heritage. So I used the banshee story that heard when I was younger that depicted the banshee as a rabbit.

A girl and her dogs

This was piece I did for my sister one year for her birthday. The piece is done in graphite and crushed soft pastels that I lightly brush on in specific locations it's very subtle so it may be hard to see in the photo.

Shadow of a rock band

This piece is actually 3 separate pieces, but for this purpose I chose to put them together. It is Mylar backed with red Canson paper. The images are done in charcoal and photographs. The photographs used were taken by myself.

Tyler Connolly Caricature

Another TOAD piece....this was a school assignment I did my first year college. I had to choose a musician or actor/actress and do a caricature of them. So I chose to do one of Tyler Connolly.

Through a childs eyes

I did this piece with my mother in mind. Diagnosed with MS in the early 2000's being only about 10 at that time this is my visual on how I understood the problem.

The Cube

The Mistery

I absolutely love venetian mask there so elegant and give you the chance to be someone new to be someone you want to be.

Sterling

This is a portrait of my grandfather Sterling Murphy he was eighteen when the picture I used was taken he died of cancer when my dad was just 9 years old. 40 years later he's missed as much as he was then and much more. I just recently fixed (or at least tried to fix) his one eye after I realized far to late that he looked like he had a lazy eye.

Sea Shells

I think the title speaks for it's self on this one.

Masked Mistress

I  made this character to put on a 8 foot tall foam core board that I had in the Algonquin College GAS Showcase 2010 when I graduated from the Pre-Animation & Illustration program. Which was also the last year those boards were used now they use extra large colored posters so that the students can get them home to keep.

Light Still Life Study

Just another still life study but using just using light colors.

Possession

Why do see'ers always look like there straight out of an exorcise movie? Guess it would take one to know.

Bionic Harpie

I would hate to be behind her at the metal detector in the airport....can you say major delay.

Bat's in your belfree

This little guy is the skeleton of a flying fox which if I'm not mistaken is also know as a fruit bat.
(If I'm wrong I'll except it as long as the correction is polite no reason to be mean :))

Tyler Connolly

You'll notice quickly a favorite subject that pop's up now and again, some of my artsy friends call it a muse...my family calls it creepy (jokingly of course) lol. This was the first (2009) of many to come and in case your wondering yes those are real autographs and I know one is missing (Long story).

Coraline Duvall

One of my favorite TV show when I was in high school was a show called 'Moonlight' most people probably don't remember it seeing as it lasted only 1 season. Just another victim of the 2008 writers strike :( I also did one of Mick St. John but he was the very first portrait I ever attempted and well it's not as good as I thought it once was, but that's what comes with progress. Oh well.

Maskerade

An oldie but still good I did this piece in 2007, it took 3 months and way too many sharpies. I drove my family nuts with the sound of a taping marker...lol
